And Bear Did The Cha, Cha, Cha...

I know, I’ve gotten so far behind on my updates. Sorry, we have been crazy busy over the last few weeks. I think things are finally slowing down so I should be back to it on a regular basis.  In the past few weeks I have realized how loved Penelopoppy (nooo, she still doesn’t have a name) is, especially by her siblings...
All three of her siblings are very excited that they are going to have a little sister. They don’t even have to tell me how excited they are, I can see it in their actions. Maddie came in my room the other night and had a gift bag with her. She told me that she and Kelsey went to Hobby Lobby and she wanted to get something she could make for Penelopoppy. She bought a onesie and put a flower on it. They also got some jewels to bedazzle it. They needed my help with that. She also picked out an adorable little pair of Ugg boots that we are also going to bedazzle. It was sweet, she said that she hadn’t bought anything for her yet and wanted to get her something. It makes it a million times more special that Maddie did that on her own and that she is making something.

Big Sister, Maddie, got these cute things for baby sister.

A few days ago Dylan was cleaning out his room. He came out with one of his “Bear in the Big Blue House” toys. When he was a toddler, that show was his favorite. He had Bear videos, toys, CDs, even a computer game. He loved that show for a few years and he had one stuffed version of Bear that he called his Cha Cha Bear. You sit this thing on the floor and push its hand and it moves and sings the Cha Cha song. Well Dylan told me that he would like to give this bear to Penelopoppy. He also informed me that he’s saving all his Ninja Turtle action figures so she can play with them when she’s older. He decided that since he won’t be having a brother, he will just “tom boy” her up.

Big Brother, Dylan, decided to give baby sister his Cha, Cha, Cha Bear.

A few days later I came into my room and on the tub where I keep all of Penelopoppy’s things were a stuffed lamb, stuffed giraffe, and a note. They were left there by Kelsey. She gave Penelopoppy her lamb and giraffe because she has grown out of them. She said she wanted to give them to her and hopefully they will be her favorite toys. I took a picture of the note. It reads “These 2 stuffed animals Lampchop and Coffeecake are for my adorable baby sister! I love you Penelopoppy! Love Kelsey”

Big Sister, Kelsey, gave baby sister her lamb and giraffe.

I have said a million times over how blessed we are to be having this baby, but as you can see, I’m just as blessed to have the three amazing kids that I already have. They are going to be wonderful older siblings. My cup runneth over!
