And Then He Said 78%...

I’m sitting here in the waiting room and I’m feeling anxious and nervous.  I still can’t believe all that is happening.  I can’t believe how amazing my husband is. For reasons that aren’t important, the procedure is gonna take about 6 hours.  That’s a long time to wait.  I’ve already watched Bridesmaids, I’ve tried to read, I’ve been to the cafeteria a few times, and it is barely 10am. I still have a few hours...

I just talked to the doctor and Duffy is fine. He said that everything looked great and he feels like we should have success in no time. Together, according to Dr. Bastuba, we have a 78% chance of this working. I’ve been told so many times that we would only have a 20% chance.  Now to hear 78%, is a bit overwhelming.  It’s truly amazing! A few more minutes and I get to go back to recovery. I am so excited for this journey we are beginning. Can’t wait to see where it takes us!
