9 Weeks: They Will Be Cousins In Crime...

Today Duffy and I went to Amarillo for our daughter’s track meet. After the meet we headed over to the mall shop at Motherhood. I’m not showing yet and can still wear my regular clothes, but since we don’t have a place in Clovis to buy maternity clothes, I decided to pick some up. I will say that maternity clothes are a lot cuter now than they were the first time I was pregnant.  Of course, that was 12 years ago!  I found some cute things to get me started…

After we left the store we went to have lunch with my brother Cody, my sister-in-law Myndi, and our nephew Stockton.  Side note: a week after we found out we were pregnant, we got a call from my brother telling us that he and his wife were having a baby. Myndi is due on October 26^th I am due on October 27^th.

Anyway, we went to lunch and I had planned to go ahead and tell them because I really wanted to tell my brother in person.  During lunch I told them we were going to have a baby and they were shocked.  They were definitely excited, but shocked. I think everyone is going to have a great reaction to our exciting news.  I can’t wait to tell my Mom, sister, and Duffy’s Mom.  I’m sure Grandma Jersey will make all sorts of noise when she finds out.  Lol.
