6 Weeks: And He/She Will Be Called Penelopoppy...

Penelopoppy:  that is Baby Moon’s new name. The name was given to this angel baby by its older brother and sister. Why Penelopoppy you ask?  The day before we told the kids I was pregnant, our son Dylan kept telling me he loved the name Penelope. He said if he ever had a girl that was what he was going to name her. Fast forward to the night we told the kids that I was pregnant.  After the shock and excitement died down a little, they began asking questions.  Kelsey, our daughter, asked what size the baby was…

I told them that the baby was the size of a poppy seed. The girls started calling it poppy and Dylan started calling it Penelope. Somehow they combined it and now we have a little Penelopoppy. Wonder how long that will stick?

Well, now Dylan wants Penelopoppy to know that he is in fact the most awesome of the older siblings. He tells my stomach on a regular basis that he is the coolest.  I haven’t had the heart to tell him that Penelopoppy can’t actually hear him. Of course, not to be outdone, Kelsey has gotten in on the action.  She wants Penelopoppy to know that she will be the favorite. This will be a very interesting nine months.
