My Cup Runneth Over...

This week I don’t have any pregnancy stories.  It’s true: I didn’t have any major breakdowns or any new experiences. I did however; watch our oldest daughter graduate from high school and our youngest daughter graduate from 6th grade. Dylan will be starting 8th grade next year. Watching the three of them grow is so awesome and so sad all at the same time…
I look at my three amazing kiddos and think of how fast they are growing up. Now that Duffy and I have seen firsthand how fast kids grow, we plan to definitely stop and smell the roses with our new addition. Overall it was an emotional week just because of the events that took place, but all the tears were happy tears.
Here's a pic of me and the kids from 2006!  My have they grown.  :-(
Duffy and I are also celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary today. If you don’t know the story, here it is in a nutshell.  We had our “wedding” on June 12, 2010.  You’ll remember that date because it was the night of that HUGE hail storm that came through and goofed up everyone’s roof and car.  The funny thing is, we actually got married on May 24, 2008. Nobody knew…just us and our kids.
It was really sweet.  We snuck off to Ruidoso and got married by a creek. It was just me and Duffy and Laine.  Laine is the guy that married us.  We decided to keep that one a secret…just between me and Duffy…and eventually our kids.  All in all, we kept the secret for about two years, with the exception of our children who we told six months after we wed.  I look at all we have experienced over the last four years and it makes me smile. I definitely found a wonderful man to raise these four children with. I’m looking forward to all the adventures we have ahead of us. I just know this baby is already blessed with an amazing family. My cup runneth over!
The day we said, "I do".
